Single Class: $30 ~ 6-Week membership (any 6 sessions) $150.00

Our newest addition is Stand Up Paddleboard Boot Camp! This class focuses on isometric and body weight exercises on a SUP. It takes place on a beautiful 15-acre pond in Jeffersonville. After working up a sweat, feel free to jump in the water to cool down. Geared towards all ability levels. We show you the moves; you challenge yourself.  Join us for one session or sign up for a 6-session membership.

Tour Time: 2 Hours. Wed & Sat. 9 – 11. $55/person

An excellent start to your day. Your guide will take you down a 4.5 mile scenic stretch of river at a leisurely pace, giving you ample opportunity to enjoy nature and catch a glimpse of wildlife. You’ll have your choice of single or tandem kayaks. Children as young as 4 may ride at the front of a tandem. This is a great opportunity for beginning kayak paddlers with little or no experience to enjoy the river. We also have single kayaks for children 8 and older.

WATER & WINE (Last tour July 18)
Tour Time: Approx 3 Hours. Ages 15 and up. Wed, Fri & Sat. 12 to 3. $65/person

An hour and a half paddle on the Lamoille River in the boat of your choice from our outpost to the Boyden Valley Winery, where you will enjoy a glass of wine accompanied by authentic Vermont Cheddar. You will delight in the experience of a Vermont-made, award-winning wine and enjoy stunning views of the Green Mountains’ landscape. Your guide will bring you back to your car after your stay at the Winery.

Tour Time: Approx 4 hours. Ages 12 and up. Wed thru Sun. 10 – 2. $80/person

This self-guided tour is the perfect combination of pedaling and paddling. Begin at our outpost to sign-in and pay. Then, drive to the Johnson Trailhead where your fun, fast and efficient electric bikes await. Pedal back to our Jeffersonville outpost where you will hop into your canoe or kayak to enjoy 1 1/2 hour of scenic beauty. The last part of your journey concludes with a relaxing e-bike ride back to Johnson. The bike ride is approximately 35 to 45 minutes long. We recommend bringing a bagged lunch.

Tour Time: 2.5 hours. Ages 3 and up. Tues. 1 – 3:30. $100/canoe

Combines an hour and a half of paddling in canoes with a stop on one of the many beach areas to enjoy your choice of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream or other frozen treat on the river and take an optional swim. Great for families and big kids at heart. Canoes can hold 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 small children.

Tour Time: 2.5 hours. Ages 3 and up. Tues 9:30 – Noon and Thur 12 – 2:30. $60/person
$30.00 for children 3 to 6 years old in a canoe with parents

Our sweetest paddling destination. Paddle to the VT Maple Outlet where you will learn about the maple sugaring process, enjoy a pure maple creemee or gourmet coffee, and take home maple and Vermont goodies. The Vermont Maple Outlet is family owned and operated and has produced award winning Vermont maple syrup for over 100 years. They make their own pure maple candy and maple cream and offer a large variety of maple products, Vermont cheeses, cob-smoked meats, Vermont specialty foods and handmade crafts and clothing. Leave room in your backpack!

Tour Time: 1:45 Hours. Tues 10 – 11:45. $50/person

What better way to enjoy the art of yoga than floating on a paddleboard on a beautiful, calm, serene pond setting in the mountains of Vermont. Practice traditional poses on the water along with free time to Stand Up Paddle. Never tried either? No problem. This is geared toward all levels and it’s easier than you think!!!

Tour Time: Approx 2.5 hours (1.5 hours paddling and half hour at distillery).
Ages 21 and up. Wed & Sun 12 – 3. $65/person

Paddle on a scenic stretch of the Lamoille River and conclude your journey at Smugglers’ Notch Distillery. Enjoy a taste of their award-winning spirits. Choose from a selection of 4 cocktails, with the option of a tasting and cocktail or just a cocktail. Smugglers’ Notch Distillery is soundly established and recognized among connoisseurs and fans, in Vermont and well beyond. A good paddle will put you in the right mood to savor Vermont-made spirits. Bottoms Up!! Note: This is a tasting. Smugglers Notch Distillery cannot legally serve full cocktails.

Custom Tours Available for Large Groups

Our only non-river tour. We will shuttle you to the Sweet Haven Farm, a robotic dairy farm nestled in the beautiful hills of Fletcher, VT. The Sweet family will share with you their 100-year history of farming and show how they have diversified to be sustainable in 2019. Visit their sweet Holstein and Jersey cows, calves and heifers and milking cows. And yes, they are milked by robots! The Sweet family’s passion is to bring wholesome dairy products to your table. On this tour, you will also enjoy wholesome white or chocolate milk and Vermont cheese, as well as the option to purchase their maple syrup.


  • Due to limited space, reservations on all guided tours are required and need to be made 24 hours in advance.  
  • We require a 25% deposit at the time of reservation.
  • Cancellations need to be made a full 24 hours prior to reserved time.
  • The deposit will not be refunded on shorter notice cancellations.
  • We still go out in light rain. If conditions are deemed unsafe (high water, thunderstorms), VCK reserves the right to cancel. In this case, deposits will be refunded or transferred if you choose to reschedule to another day.
